You can use all of Urban Nails' Biodegradable Glitters in dispersion layer or encapsulate them in your gels, acrylgels or acrylics.

Are glitters banned by the EU?
Yes and no: glitters made of plastic are indeed banned. That's nice, because that way fewer microplastics enter the environment.
Urban Nails' Biodegradable Glitters are sustainable glitters made from Cellulose, the main building block of cell walls in plants.
- BGD - Bio Glitter Dust is very fine - for sugar or sand designs, for example, or for a very subtle glitter look.
- BUNG - Bio UN Glitter is very coarse - for inlays or a pronounced tactile glitter effect, for example.
- BDL - Bio Diamond Line is medium and thus sits between BGD and BUNG in terms of effect.
How to use as a sugar:
Finish the nail as usual, until the color is applied and cured, after that:
- Apply a layer of Top Coat (do not cure!).
- Take some glitter, for example with the Duck Paddle, and sprinkle the glitter into the wet top coat. You can use a Rhinestone Tray to catch the leftovers.
- Now cure well in your lamp, take your time, at least 2min, even if you use LED.
- Remove the residue with a fan brush, and done!
Optional - for a different effect (with better protection):
- After the above steps, apply a layer of a clear base and cure.
- Now use a top coat of your choice and cure.
How to use in the tacky layer:
Finish the nail as usual, until the color is applied and cured, after that:
- If your color does not have an adhesive layer, apply a topcoat with adhesive layer first and cure it.
- Take some glitter, for example with the Duck Paddle, and sprinkle it into the adhesive layer. You can use a Rhinestone tray to catch the leftovers.
- Fix the glitters by pressing them with a Chromer, Silicone Tool, or just with your finger (did I mention you should always use gloves?).
- Briefly in the lamp, 30sec.
- Remove the residue with a fan brush
- Finish with a top coat of your choice. Put two coats and always harden in your lamp.
